Waxahatchee – Much Ado About Nothing

Excellent 7” release. Cleaned with Pro-ject vacuum cleaner prior to listing and there’s not a click or pop across either side. Mastering is fairly bright, and is a different sonic presentation than the Tigers Blood album, from which these tracks are left over from. Next To Me has some fairly sharp vocal “Sss’s”, which could probably distort if your cart isn’t great, or isn’t setup well.
Happy with this, it’s a great ‘bonus’ to Tigers Blood, as noted by the contributor below.

Terrible pressing full of clicks and pops and distortion. Very sad.

Edit… after a cleaning it’s better but still not great.

my copy had a giant mark across both sides that has flattened the grooves so it doesn’t play 🥹 returning to the store to get a new one hopefully. does anyone else have this fault or is it a one off??
