I've tried 3 copies and all had bad campfire crackle affecting the last two tracks. Also my latest copy was sealed but had no hype sticker, poster or . Has anyone else had one like that?
-
Great album But QC of the vinyl itself is pretty bad. Lots of scuffs and grime on my copy right out of the seal.

I got this pressing sealed and brand new for a really good price. The artwork, packaging, quality of the sleeves and poster are all top notch. I also have no issues with my pressing. Everything sounds high quality. Really happy with this. Great music!

Edited 10 months agoFive stars for the musically and lyrically fantastic album. Nice poster etc. As for the pressing: mine is (almost) neither noisy nor skipping (except of the last track!), but sounds overall a bit less detailed as the digital 24/96 version on Qobuz.
Played after cleaning on Opera Consonance on LP12/Klimax Radikal/Urika2/Kore/Karousel/Akito/Krystal, Selekt DSM Edition Hub/Amp/Organik, Akurate 242 -
Side A was perfect, quiet, and lively. Side B has some noise during the first tracks, but nothing to ruin the experience, though. You hear it as it transitions from one song to the next, but it's pretty unnoticeable during the actual songs. Happy with my copy and, of course, love the album.

This is one of my favorite albums in years, but as others mention, pressings are inconsistent. First one I bought was very noisy and poppy. Second is noisy in places but without so many crackles. It’s good enough but I wish the quality was commensurate with the music.

Music is great, pressing not so much. Skipping on A2 (one of the best tracks). Bought it in the US and took it back to the UK so I can't return :(

Edited 2 years agoNice pressing overall. A bit noisy after a few listens. Love Waxahatchee and this album. Great purchase for $22.99 Canadian! Listen records in Edmonton...online store. Paid over $45 for other new albums this week.

I'd like to add to this thread what others have already commented. You can still buy this variant directly from Bandboxrocks.com for $36.00. I just placed my order.
