Record sounds great right out of the sleeve without a cleaning. Shipped without shrink wrap in a nice archive sleeve and quality outer sleeve. (Good job, Amazon!) Really well-produced record. Great clarity.

An acoustic solo album demands a quiet pressing, and this one delivers. This album sounds awesome, and there is no distracting surface noise.

The recording of this album is excellent. Unfortunately, it's a very forgettable album. Spun it 3 times the first day, and haven't felt the need to really revisit it. First Isbell album in a long time that doesn't have any staying power with me. There's no fastball here.

It can be deceptively difficult to mix stripped-down music like this in a way that feels like it fills the soundstage yet sounds natural. One technique used for that is employing delay and placing that elsewhere on the soundstage, and I will say, there's one or two instances where that sounds a bit too heavy-handed and jarring for me. But otherwise the mix is pretty solid—and having listened to the digital version of this album several times before the vinyl arrived, I'd say this pressing is a solid representation of the record. No surface noise, nice and clear and as dynamic as the mix allows.

Another great pressing of this album. I also have the Port Merch variant, and this sounds very similar if not perhaps a touch better. Nice color, flat, quiet, excellent sound.

Brilliant sounding record. A really quiet, detailed pressing. Wax looks lovely, too.
