Fantastic Freestyle! Killer electro / hip hop drum samples and very fun latin vocal samples.
Personally, I prefer the cheese of the Club Mix. Dub Mix is great if you don't enjoy the cheesy vocal samples like I do, still a very respectable mix mind you.
The Minuteman stuff is also quite good and worth checking out if you enjoy Freestyle / Old school electro. -

Good song. Excellent producer. This is an old Doc Martin cut that he used to play at all the raves in 92. All the follower dj's started playing it after Doc Martin played it in my old town. Holy shit, that was 25 years ago. Seems like yesterday. -

Probably the best release under the Bad Boy Orchestra guise. Even though I have to it I really do get misty eyed for most of the Minutemen stuff as well.
Some of the best programmed beats of that era. Still hold up today, timeless really. If, like myself, one was into the early house sound at the time but came from an '80s electro [old school hip hop] background instead of a soul, disco, synth-pop one. This record was a breath of fresh air as it kept the drum machine sounds such as house, techno, electro, freestyle did but with a rough hip hop attitude. Hardcore more in power, toughness and velocity before the UK rave version.
All mixes are playable but the Dub Mix is my preference as all the cheese is left out and the boombastic beats, edits and no nonsense electro bassline can be enjoyed in all its rawness.
P.S. Holy Noise/The Unknown sampled part of the Kick drums on their Belgian techno classic Dreams Of Santa Anna. I'm quite sure some of the rim shot / tom tom sounds on this were in turn also originally sampled from Man Parrish Hip Hop Be Bop aswell and overlayed to good use.
Also, if Renegade Soundwave weren't somehow influenced by this when they made their mega classic 'The Phantom' I'd be very surprised. -

What a killer record, some of the largest 808 kick drum beats with killer salsa loops, I had 5 copies of this at one time as I kept wearing mine out. This is on my Essential Mixes and also have played at Glastonbury, Creamfields, Leeds/Reading Festival, 10 Days of Techno, Festimad, Transmusicales, Dour Festival, Homelands, Big Chill Festival, T In the Park in Scotland you name it and this record has been one of my secret weapons to make me stand out from the rest. Everyone needs secret weapons in their boxes and this one is massive. Norty Cotto is an amazing producer
