She's Breaking Up has a very similar bassline and drums to Talk Back (Low Frequency Response) by Double Trouble:

    https://discogs.cinepelis.org/release/181835-Double-Trouble-Talk-Back

Andy Whitmore is credited as the keyboard player on both records, and he is the owner of Greystoke Studios where She's Breaking Up was recorded.

This record is an absolute banger. Both tracks are wonderful and constructed in a simple but extremely effective way. Really inspiring.

All nostalgia aside, I hundreds of copies of this just as fresh as it first came out, SEALED and all. I bought this in 1996, on a bona-fide Fokus pressing, out of a stack of many copies. what I was told was that they were from the back storage of the WATTS warehouse. I doubt, but, I think this has been repressed properly a few times.

On one of the Youtube s of this, Micky Finn has commented saying it was his first attempt at making a track, first time in a studio, turned up and said 'I have some samples & idea 'let's go'!

With that in my mind, does anybody know who the engineer was?

I bought mine from a tiny shop that was rarely open... turns out the owner was a dj up all night and living in the back room. He had been recently evicted. Love the breakdown and the 6 million dollar man samples... Still love it!
