One of the most perfect sounding pieces in my collection. I’ve been listening to the record since its release on any format I could and this is by far the definitive version.

Sound is absolutely excellent as most Chris Bellman cuts are. The color by far matches the cover better than any other variant. Did come with the usual UO seam spit, but at least it came! And on an Easter Sunday nonetheless. More than I can say for my Bandbox exclusive order.

The negative reviews on this are surprising. For an album obviously recorded digitally, this sounds awesome for the reasonable price it’s being sold at. Great pressing all around. My only complaint is the copyright year on the back - why 2009 for an album that came out in 2006? Anyways, very happy with this grab.

Pretty decent pressing here, good dynamics where there needs to be. Sound nice and full on my copy and on my midlevel setup. As someone else noted, it does play a little quietly (louder now..? lol) so you'll have to turn it up a little more than you're used to, but when you turn it up you'll be pleased! Happy to own this pressing.

Responding to some comments like "it sounds digital" and "the mix could be better." No one ever said this was re-mixed, and yes, the sessions were probably recorded digitally in Pro Tools. Using the original source tracks, there's literally nothing that can be done to alter the sound except for mastering it again for vinyl -- and they probably used the previous vinyl masters (similarly, no one said it was remastered). It's also entirely possible, given the pre-vinyl-resurgence era this was recorded in, that this was never mastered specifically for vinyl to begin with and they legit used the digital masters for all vinyl pressings. I believe you're literally getting the original digital version on vinyl. And that doesn't surprise me. It was never d as remixed or remastered. I think y'all are setting unreasonable expectations.

Got a copy that had popping and skips throughout side one, but side two played perfectly. Returned to store and got a second copy where both sides were great! Appears to be an anomaly, but be careful when getting yours.
