Destruction – Infernal Overkill

Sounds terrific! I’ve done some side by side with High Roller Records releases and original pressings and there is not a hugely significant difference. Originals may have a little more depth to the soundstage, but that difference isn’t enough for me to shell out an additional $80-$100 for a VG+ copy that (probably) has groove wear.

HRR quality control and packaging is second to none. All the releases I’ve received on black vinyl are flat, quiet, and free of factory handling marks. This one is no exception. Highly recommend!

HRR always nails it. Fortunately they put their hands on all of Destruction's back catalogue and took good care of it. Infernal Overkill is an absolute classic and here it sounds amazingly fresh. The drums and bass have their punch and the sound is loud and deep. The whole package is pure class, quality posters, inner sleeve on solid paper and a good looking colored vinyl, everything just adds to the experience. It's a shame Sodom never made a deal with these guys.

This is not a repress, but a completely different mastering, compared to the first CD releases by HIGH ROLLER RECORDS.

This has to be one of the most beautiful albums I own. I like the fire splatter, but the colors in the mixed splatter are even better than that, at least in the copy I have. The album sounds great too! Infernal Overkill was the first Destruction album I had back in the 80's and probably my favorite, although all of their early releases are great.

I have this record and mine didn't come with the original insert even though mine came sealed. Does anyone have a poor/subpar copy that would be willing to part with the insert, cheaply? Thanks.

One of the best Thrash-Metal albums ever made. Epic riffs, a sound that keep in mind...great work. If you like thrash-metal, it is a must have.

My copy has a slightly different runout and different barcode. Anybody else?

Amazing debut from one of the best thrash bands ever! Destruction! And this pressing is perfection as most High Roller re issues are. If you cannot get an OG copy, then go for this. I actually prefer it! It sounds perfect! Just look at all the bonuses you will receive on top of the amazing record itself!
