Edited 4 years agoAll Destruction early release are DMM cut, which made the sound quality not accurate to the original tapes. DMM wasn't a mature technique back on then, it captures more dynamic but make the sound distorted in some way. HRR version sounds better, especially for the first EP. Mastering engineer Patrick's most proud work ever done by him. The CD version is good with more comfortable EQ (remastered by another engineer), but it is compressed a little bit on dynamic range. Both HRR releases on CD and LP are highly recommended. The first press is not recommended considering the market isn't that healthy nowadays. Pay wise money on high quality re-releases.
