I recently found a NM of this pressing at a local flea market and I'm pleasently surprised how good it sounds!

Even more surprised to see the crazy prices here. I guess I got very lucky.

Can someone explain what’s the misprint ? [10 words minimum]

I have what appears to be an original 1970 German copy based on the Discogs information about the jacket, laminated front, C v.d. Linnepe printing company on back, etc. However the label rim text references United Artists instead of Liberty, which according to Discogs is associated with the 1973 issue. Anyone else have a similar variation?

Perfectly happy with this pressing, sounds open with good dynamics and separation. No original to compare it to, but enjoying the musical presentation.

Great album, great sound, flawless pressing. Amazingly I had never heard this before.

Extraordinary album. Side One has some achingly lovely chord changes on certain tracks (first 3). All grooves, as is typical of Can, are right in the pocket. Side Two begins with a long track that mesmerises with its insistence of one chord. It never gets dull with changes of texture and instrumentation throughout. They never settle for filler.

Don't let the idea of 'Soundtracks' put you off. This is quintessential Can, imo.
Also this is an excellent pressing. The translucent purple feels and looks like it won't deliver but it does. Great depth to the bottom end. Crisp without bring brittle at any point despite the searing, coarseness of Schmidt's guitar work. I say coarse, but of course it's a lovable rogue!

So....coloured vinyl CAN be clean and without clicks. To me, that means there's no excuse. If it CAN be done, then it should always be done. Companies need to pull their finger out and ensure their products are this good. We shouldn't be 'making do' with the hit and miss element, quality-wise.
