Overkill – Taking Over

Impressive reissue, sound is very full and clear. Don't recall it ever sounding this good, but I only ever owned the cassette tape.

Typical canadian pressning. No bottom or top end. Avoid this issue. As bad as the overyped bootleg stuff Banzai did. Get the US or German pressning if you enjoy the album.

Are these 2024 Digipak Editions that are now being sold remastered or just reissued from originals? I have seen in some places they say remastered and on here it just says reissue so which is it? Thanks!

An example of a great reissue. No issues at all. Ordered black vinyl and got this colour, a nice surprise. Sounds great.

I think with the years of decay are the best albums.. Very good job from mov. Dynamic

Oh man, whoever cut this wax did a really incredible job. Sure it is a little crackly like some people are complaining about. But the mastering job sounds fantastic! This sound like a classic LP! Sounds how it was intended! Such a fun and really amazing thrash metal classic that everyone needs! Very glad it got repressed along with all of Overkill’s other perfect classic thrashterpieces! Do not fear picking this up, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Very crackly noise floor, perhaps due to the colored vinyl. It doesn't matter when the thrash kicks in (the mastering sounds fantastic) but is annoying on the softer parts. Still worth it for 22 bucks.

Fantastic sound! Powerful and aggressive! The sound engineers did a great job with this re-release! - All in all, an outstanding pressing!

Just picked this up for $5 at a local record shop and it's mint. Ya gotta love jewel cases keeping the booklets in tact! The mix and mastering leaves me wanting nothing...sounds GREAT.
