The Kinks – The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society

This has to be one of the best sleeper albums of the 1960's. Kevin Gray does a great mastering , vocals are clear and bass is very defined . My copy is very quiet - this is a winner !! Do not have an OG to compare but happy with this pressing .

The Stereo one includes Phenomenal Cat both on the record and label (not on the backcover, which is the same for the mono and stereo one). In the Notes, the stereo and mono one have been mixed up,,,)

Highest price this has sold for is £154 in near mint condition . Average sales price is £75 . And yet sellers are trying to sell these for £500 and £600 respectively . Hopefully they won't find any gullible buyers , and spend years trying to sell their product until inflation catches up .

Excellent and warm sounding recording, this release is really fantastic sonically compared to the 50th Anniversary remastered edition, it has plenty of space, midrange, treble and bass and overall much more dynamics

An Aussie album that is hard to find in any where near mint condition. Much rarer than UK album pressings from the time

Please people, give me one good reason to get this, when i already have the 3 Disc Edition from 2004 !!!!
