[NEW TITLE] Hi! I'm back to do some housework

I left this Group leaving it rudderless but thanks to the help of Diognes_The_Fox I'm back to do a quick bit of housework.
The Group needs a new and I would prefer volunteers but if none step forward I will promote a bunch of you to status.
I'm thinking of relaxing the hip so that the Group will no longer be Invite Only. Please let me know if you want it to remain that way.

Bumping for visibility.

When I was an editor @ Discogs more than 10 years ago I worked very hard for a community that would allow all nationalities to submit things even though the language English is not known by everybody in the world.

Back then I did not get much but I made a lot of friends moderating releases submitted by people not that good in English.

I have talked to Clogwhistle about this in the past, and as I am now once again preparing to submit my collection of 10.000 records (the last time was more than 10 years ago) and I might find the time to do something regarding language barriers.

To say the least... I was not very popular among the persons in charge. Back then it was really one person who liked the Wiki-style and I wa against that system.

Now ten years later I must it that I was right and I was wrong :-D

People submit and do it pretty correctly. Discogs has improved and most releases I check as a cassual surfer look ok. I was underestimating the urge to submit even though not that much people submit as a whole. Less than 400.000 so far. Latest entry on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discogs#Milestones say it was 329.000 contributors in January this year.

So... Do I want to take on the whole forum myself and work for a Discogs update? No, not right now! I would like it to stay alive though so I could do it together with someone else.

I was right in the sad vision that the community aspect of Discogs would be lost when it was turned into a Wiki.
