We look forward to being one of your go-to music stores specialized in the sale of jazz records for years to come.

A recommendation:
Don't waste your time chasing the old 'holy grails' many jazz-lovers are looking for, they're increasingly difficult to find and some of them are getting very expensive.
So if there are reissues, we recommend buying reissues instead (many are high-quality albums you will absolutely enjoy for a long time).
Also, future grails are being released by wonderful artists right now, so try something new from time to time (...).

1. We ed Discogs in December 2022 -- We started selling in February 2025.
2. We ship our records with extra care. We make sure your order gets delivered to you in perfect condition. Each shipment is hand-packaged by our team with the utmost care and attention to detail.
3. During the weekend we may not able to respond to messages/orders.
4. We have many more records we will never be able to list here. If not in stock, many new and/or reissued records you don't see on Discogs can be ordered, and we know where, so don't hesitate to us in case you have any specific questions.
5. In the event of a listing error (for example "in stock" while it is not), or a pricing error on our items for sale, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for products listed incorrectly or listed at an incorrect price. We are not obligated to honor orders for products that are incorrectly posted due to human, technical, or other error.
6. We have a minimum order value (MOV) policy of EUR 75 - no exceptions.

ALGEMENE VERKOOPVOORWAARDEN

Artikel 1. Toeing
1. Op alle aanbiedingen, bestellingen en overeenkomsten van Jazz on Vinyl (“JOV”) zijn de Algemene Verkoopvoorwaarden van toeing. Alle transacties lopen via JOV.
2. Door een bestelling bij JOV te plaatsen gaat u akkoord met de Algemene Verkoopvoorwaarden van JOV.
3. Van deze Algemene Verkoopvoorwaarden kan alleen schriftelijk worden afgeweken. In dat geval blijven de overige bepalingen van deze Voorwaarden van kracht.
4. Alle rechten en aanspraken die in deze Voorwaarden en in eventuele nadere overeenkomsten staan ten behoeve van JOV gelden ook ten behoeve van eventueel door JOV ingeschakelde tussenpersonen en andere derden.

Artikel 2. Aanbiedingen/overeenkomsten
5. Alle aanbiedingen van JOV zijn vrijblijvend.
6. JOV heeft het recht om prijzen te wijzigen, in het bijzonder wanneer dat op grond van voorschriften noodzakelijk is.
7. Een overeenkomst komt pas tot stand als JOV uw bestelling heeft geaccepteerd. JOV heeft het recht bestellingen gemotiveerd te weigeren of bijzondere voorwaarden aan de levering te verbinden als bijvoorbeeld "orderables" (deze zijn niet op voorraad) achteraf toch niet leverbaar zijn. Als uw bestelling niet wordt geaccepteerd, krijgt u zo spoedig mogelijk bericht.

Artikel 3. Prijzen en betalingen
8. De vermelde prijzen voor de aangeboden artikelen zijn in euro's, inclusief btw en exclusief afhandelingskosten en verzendkosten, eventuele belastingen of andere heffingen, tenzij anders vermeld of schriftelijk overeengekomen.
9. Als de prijzen van de aangeboden artikelen stijgen in de periode tussen het moment dat u bestelt en de uitvoering van de bestelling door JOV, heeft u het recht de bestelling te annuleren dan wel de overeenkomst te ontbinden binnen tien kalenderdagen na mededeling van de prijsverhoging door JOV.

Artikel 4. Levering
10. U ontvangt uw bestelling met bekwame spoed en uiterlijk binnen achtentwintig werkdagen, tenzij door JOV anders wordt aangegeven. In dat laatste geval ontvangt u hier tijdig bericht van. Overschrijding van de levertermijn geeft u geen recht op schadevergoeding.
11. Levering vindt plaats op het moment dat de artikelen op het opgegeven afleveradres worden aangeboden.
12. Het inpakken en verzenden van onze langspeelplaten doen wij uitsluitend zelf en verloopt zeer nauwkeurig volgens een vast protocol. In de beschrijving van het album zetten we vrijwel altijd iets als: "We ship our records with extra care. We make sure your order gets delivered to you in perfect condition. Each shipment is hand-packaged by our team with the utmost care and attention to detail." Na verzending is JOV niet aansprakelijk voor verlies, diefstal, verduistering, verkeerde afleveringen, beschadigingen, vertragingen en dergelijke tijdens transport.

Artikel 5. Reclames en aansprakelijkheid
13. Controleer de geleverde artikelen na ontvangst. Eventuele gebreken dient u uiterlijk binnen 5 dagen na ontvangst schriftelijk aan JOV te melden.
14. Als u een artikel toch niet wilt hebben vanwege een beschadiging o.i.d., heeft u het recht het artikel binnen veertien dagen na aflevering aan JOV te retourneren en de overeenkomst te ontbinden. Retourzendingen worden in dit geval alleen geaccepteerd als 1) de verpakking van het artikel (hoes) onbeschadigd is (gebruik dus zeer goed verpakkingsmateriaal) en 2) de verzegeling (zoals de krimpfolie en/of het zegel) niet is verbroken. Als het ongeopende, onbeschadigde retour gekomen artikel al betaald is, wordt het bedrag uiterlijk binnen dertig werkdagen door JOV terugbetaald. Alleen als de LP/LP's ongeopend/onbeschadigd bij ons terug komen, zijn de kosten van de retourzending voor onze rekening. In alle andere gevallen komen de kosten van terugzending voor uw rekening.

Artikel 6. Bestellingen/communicatie
15. JOV is niet aansprakelijk voor beschadigingen, vertragingen of niet behoorlijk overkomen van bestellingen en mededelingen als gevolg van gebruik van internet of andere communicatiemiddelen tussen u en JOV, tenzij er sprake is van grove schuld van JOV.
16. Wij hanteren over het algemeen de termen "in stock" en "orderables". Indien in geval van een "orderable" er door JOV bij haar leverancier één of meer platen moeten worden besteld omdat ze niet bij JOV op voorraad zijn, en u wilt ná uw bestelling en betaling van uw koop af, dan kan dat alleen als wij 1) na 28 werkdagen na onze bestelling bij onze leverancier uw bestelling nog niet hebben ontvangen en 2) onze leverancier uw bestelde product(en) wil terugnemen zonder daarvoor een financiële vergoeding vragen. Zo'n vergoeding is aan JOV nimmer gevraagd en verwachten we ook niet, bovendien is er altijd ruimte voor een gesprek hierover. Neemt u gerust met ons op en we zullen altijd proberen tot een goede oplossing te komen.

Artikel 7. Diversen
17. Onverminderd de overige aan JOV toekomende rechten, heeft JOV in geval van overmacht het recht om de uitvoering van uw bestelling op te schorten, dan wel de overeenkomst zonder rechterlijke tussenkomst te ontbinden door dit schriftelijk aan u mee te delen.

Artikel 8. Recht
18. Op deze Voorwaarden en alle rechten, verplichtingen, aanbiedingen, bestellingen en overeenkomsten waarop deze Voorwaarden van toeing zijn, is uitsluitend Nederlands recht van toeing.

19. Alle geschillen tussen partijen worden uitsluitend voorgelegd aan de daartoe bevoegde rechter in Nederland.

GENERAL AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Article 1. Application
1. The General and Conditions of Sale apply to all offers, orders and agreements of Jazz on Vinyl (“JOV”). All transactions are made via JOV.
2. By placing an order with JOV, you agree to the General and Conditions of Sale of JOV.
3. These and Conditions may only be deviated from in writing. In that case, the other provisions of these and Conditions remain in force.
4. All rights and claims stated in these and Conditions and in any additional agreements for the benefit of JOV also apply to any intermediaries and other third parties engaged by JOV.

Article 2. Offers/agreements
5. All offers from JOV are without obligation.
6. JOV has the right to change prices, in particular when this is necessary on the basis of regulations.
7. An agreement is only concluded once JOV has accepted your order. JOV has the right to refuse orders with reasons or to attach special conditions to the delivery. If your order is not accepted for example when "orderables" (meaning, not in stock) are suddenly sold out, you will be notified as quickly as possible.

Article 3. Prices and payments
8. The prices stated for the offered items are in euros, including VAT and excluding handling costs and shipping costs, any taxes or other levies, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.
9. If the prices of the offered items increase in the period between the moment you order and the execution of the order by JOV, you have the right to cancel the order or to terminate the agreement within ten calendar days after notification of the price increase by JOV.

Article 4. Delivery
10. The delivery times stated on the website are indicative. You will receive your order with due speed and at the latest within twenty-five working days, unless otherwise indicated by JOV. In the latter case, you will be notified of this in good time. Exceeding the delivery period does not entitle you to compensation.
11. Delivery takes place at the moment that the items are offered at the specified delivery address.
12. We exclusively pack and ship our LPs ourselves and this is done very precisely according to a fixed protocol. In the description of the album we usually include something like: "We ship our records with extra care. We make sure your order gets delivered to you in perfect condition. Each shipment is hand-packaged by our team with the utmost care and attention to detail." After shipping, JOV is not liable for loss, theft, embezzlement, incorrect deliveries, damage, delays and the like during transport.
Article 5. Complaints and liability
13. Check the delivered items upon receipt. Any defects must be reported to JOV in writing within five days of receipt.
14. If you do not want an item after all (the article is damaged OSLT), you have the right to return the item to JOV within fourteen days of delivery and to terminate the agreement. Returns will only be accepted in this case if the packaging of the item (outer sleeve) is undamaged (so use very good packaging material) and the shrink wrap and/or seal on the LP has not been broken. If the item has already been paid for, the amount will be refunded by JOV within thirty working days at the latest. When JOV receives unopened, undamaged items from you, we will pay for the return shipment. In all other cases the costs of return shipment are at your expense.

Article 6. Orders/communication
15. JOV is not liable for damage, delays or improper receipt of orders and communications as a result of the use of the internet or other means of communication between you and JOV, unless there is gross negligence on the part of JOV.
16. We have items "in stock", and we have items we can order for you (the "orderables"). If we do not have a particular item in stock, we need to place an order for you. In case you want to cancel one or more orderables after placing your order and after having paid for your order, you need to know that we can only accept your cancellation 1) if we after ordering still haven't received your order from our supplier after 28 business days and 2) our supplier is willing to take our order back without any penalty. So far we have never been asked for paying a financial penalty, and based on that we don't expect that will ever happen. Please note there's always room for discussion, so please us in case you want to talk about this, and we'll try to find a mutually agreeable resolution.

Article 7. Miscellaneous
17. Without prejudice to the other rights to which JOV is entitled, JOV has the right in the event of force majeure to suspend the execution of your order or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention by notifying you of this in writing.

Article 8. Law
18. These and Conditions and all rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these and Conditions apply are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

19. All disputes between the parties will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
