At first I liked this pressing, because it has deep bass that stood out. But after I heard original 1976 US pressing my thoughts changed. Bass on this 2017 pressing dominated too much and cover up other sounds. I like the original pressing better.

On my shitty setup, it already sounded good
Having recently upgraded my setup, I spun this record again. This pressing sounds so full and dynamic, and little to no cracks/pops at all.
Easily one of the better sounding records I got in my collection -

Mine unfortunately has a lot of pops. Very happy with the sound dynamics other than that however. -
can’t believe how mind blowing this sounds. punchy, dynamic, soulful. probably the best sounding from that batch of reissues.

Stunning reissue!
Nice bottom end, quiet flat wax.
Couldn’t ask for more at the price.

Edited 2 months agoFantastic pressing! No issues on my end. Bass is a bit hot, but I think it sounds glorious and it’s worth the price at my local shop (shout out to Record Surplus in West LA/Santa Monica).
I’ve yet to have an issue on these Bowie remasters. For those having issues on pops and skips, what are you playing these on? Suitcases?? LOL
