Edited 3 months agoTerra Haute 1B/1B stereo 1st pressing has a wide stereo soundstage with outstanding sonic definition and depth. Vocals, instruments, and sound effects are all stunning.

Found a 1B / 1B that mostly resembles variant 10 but not exactly. Has Ts on both sides to confirm Terre Haute. My God is this one is crystal clear and vibrant! Stops you in your tracks to listen to every bit of it. I hear instruments clearly I did not hear like this before. Sounds like what people are describing on the 1A / 1A stereo Santa Maria. I love my Mono but this one has a sound all itself. And the bass is not lacking. You need to have both. As I have not come across a 1A / 1A stereo Santa Maria but the hunt is still on. I highly recommend this pressing.

What a nice pressing, thick cover with full color poster. Vinyl plays with a high fidelity, bass is deep and vocals are shinnin through out. The guitar has a strong presence also.

Edited 4 years agoI have no problems with any of the S&G albums, but this one is in the top 3. It's got all the feels, gorgeous production, great songwriting. I feel like this is the New York I would have wanted to know and love if I grew up in the 1960s.
I'm glad to have an original edition with the cover stickers and poster. The audio quality is perfectly fine, but a little close together. I'm sure there are remasters which sound better. -
I have a Terre Haute pressing that has an etched 1F/1F matrix, so there are obviously a few variants.
