I really love the sound of this record! I am not sure about the sibilance issue others are referring to - I have a microline stylus which is amazing at tracking. A lot of my records had sibilance issue on my older elliptical stylus. It could be either that or I just lucked out.
The record has weight, depth and great separation. It could’ve sounded a bit wider but honestly, I am really happy with it.
For reference, the 2017/2019 reissue of Portishead’s Dummy just sounds flat whereas this record has more life in it and also sounds superior to what’s on Spotify/Qobuz (I did volume matched A/B test). -
£30 Mint/sealed in 2025. Well worth it. Classic album. I’ve had this album on CD for years and also own the 12” of Unfinished Sympathy. Thought it was about time I bought the album on vinyl. So glad I did. Chefs kiss. -

Full sound! Listening to my 2013 Mezzanine Massive Attack 180g European Circa pressing album (which sounds awesome too) I realized I needed to hunt this record down too. Got it for about $30 shipped off amazon. Grab a copy before it’s gone. -
