The NW is credited to Nick Webb for cutting the lacquer but it says he worked at Abbey Road in 1968. Is this correct just wondering why that would be

I was wondering if anyone had any information about the Santa Maria pressing being known for having some distortion and excess noise? I’ve picked up 2 copies now that look NRMT and have been cleaned multiple times on my VPI but still sound terrible. I’m not able to find any info on this
