Sound quality is disappointing on this press. Extra words to appease discogs 10 word minimum. -
Edited one year agosounds wonderful! very punchy and not bad at all. don't really have any issues. it's about time this album got repressed.
EDIT: after relistening it doesn't sound too good. disc 1 is warped and you can definitely hear it on always. stockholm syndrome is just a wall of sound. which is a shame. they had another side and could've easily had 3 songs on each side. hell, maybe even throw not now onto it too. the etching is barely visible too so, waste of a side. overall, if you REALLY want this album, pick it up but don't over pay. -
sounds good to me. will do until the 20th anniversary press.
edit: on second spin, i kinda agree on it sounding “blown out and muffled” — if you crank it, songs like “obvious” sound pretty shit. “i miss you” sounds great though. it’s really just certain tracks. 4/5. -
This pressing is a quality mastering, next to the original I dont think I could be happier with the way it sounds, the mixing on asthenia and easy target are a little Distorted but easy target is supposed to be raunchy so it doesnt really make a difference. I dont know why the page was uodated to have a MP3 because mine was a sealed mint copy and didnt come with such a thing.
By far my faviourite album ever. ive listened to this record on every possible platform on every possible volume multiple times and this has to be just as good as when I first heard it when it dropped. Im Glad I copped this beauty -
I have a copy that sounds great on my table. The inner groove doesn't lock though so if I don't take the needle off right when the last song on each side ends, the needle scrapes across the label and is terrifying if loud:) -
Edited 4 years agohonestly think it sounds great but i havent heard the SRC press! edit: the tracks toward the inside of each side do sound kind of blown out. choose wisely! -
This pressing is not great. I think my CD sounds better. The sounds are very blown out and muffled together.
