just wow! highly underestimated contribution to electronic music. Far beyond their time these two guys managed to create pop music out of tools only sound experimentists used before. Frank Zappa surely disturbed his bands sounds with calliope etc. but it was only side effect. Cage and Stouckhausen concentrated on completely new abstarct sounds. Fifty Foot Hose also just added effects, The United States of America were maybe to weird and overburden. Silver Apples closed the gap. Mainly in-ear-pop with some highly psychedelic songs ( Dust, Dancing Gods) - Glad Simeon annoyed the guitar playing out of the band to prepare the carpet for this electronic master piece. Missing the taylor drums until today to replace the annoying simple pop music drums. Unforgettable the late live performances of Simeon after Taylor sadly ed away.

One of those titles that defies its very own existence, in an impossible combination of early experimental electronics, solid drum breaks a-la- b-boy, psychedelia and a folk like feeling from the vocals- it was in a world of its own in 1968 & that remains unchanged. Glad I snagged a copy a good few years back, as it will continue to gain listeners as the years roll on & is getting very hard to find (in its original form, here). Mystifying.

these guys are......what can I say...amazing. Was talked into my first of many trips (12 at time in 68) and MY GOD....needless to say I listened to it many times the next thirty years, but now just a little stoned and that still is good....can I get an AMEN....
