The Bob Sinclar version is a killer Balearic / loungey / sunset deephouse remix, surprisingly different from other Bob Sinclar reworks from the same time. A quite overlooked testimony of the first era of the so-called French Touch ! -
This is, IMO, the best version of the CD Single release. Just before the whole Gym Tonic incedent between Thomas Bangalter and Bob Sinclar, Bob did a remix of Music Sounds Better With You, and it is undeniably the best remix of the track. Forget the Dimitri & Bibi remix, forget the Chateau Flight remix, and forget the DJ Sneak remixes. In this awesome Deep House, Space Disco remix Bob takes the vocals from the original track plus a new "Uuuh" vocal from Benjamin Diamond (Perhaps off of the master tapes?) and adds in synthesizers, horns, and a really hot sampled bassline (Supposedly from Tyrone Davis, I can't figure out which song though). It's a very longey remix, but it's one of my favorite French House tunes of all time, I'd place it in my top ten. It's very reminiscent of Daft Punk's Voyager from Discovery.
Go for this release. As if the original wasn't already a ubiquitous classic, the underrated Bob Sinclar remix turns the original track into another super-classic! Don't miss out on listening to this one!
