Cause of the manufacturing process some copies are pressed on dark brown/black translucent vinyl.
It takes a strong light to see through.

Adrian Sherwood makes an enormous contribution to the sound of the album. I can understand purists not digging the result, but I personally love the combination. Angry and doped up at the same time. Awesome!

My fayfourite KMFDM record. 5-6 incredible EBM hits. Blows away any ganja disco in 2019.

KMFDM's third effort, and probably the most disted from their original catalog. The lineup has changed (enter Morgan Adjei, and Rudolph Naomi, and exit Raymond Watts, though this is a constant throughout the KMFDM catalog: Watts coming and going). Though KMFDM has a consistent history of constantly changing their lineup, this is probably the only album in which it effects the cohesiveness and quality of the album. They hadn't really developed their own sound as strongly at this point as the latter albums, so the reggae/dub influence on the album is over-saturating everything. A couple of the songs are just a rehash of previous lyrics, and while that works sometimes (like on Thumb Thumb), at other times its just a second rate song (like on Loving can be an art). "More and Faster" and "Rip the System" are almost throw a ways since the single version(s) are far superior, and tracks like "Murder, UAIOE, and Ganja Rock" might as well just been a side-project than have been KMFDM tracks. The "Virus" and "More and Faster" singles which came out at the same time are far superior to this album, but this would be the last KMFDM album which would be trumped by it's contemporary singles. One thing worth noting, is their album writing skills had grown quite a bit by this release, the last few tracks (Thrash Up, En Esch, and Thumb Thumb) pretty much save the album, and are excellent examples of where their sound was heading, but they are really the only strong tracks on the entire album, which otherwise would have been completely unnecessary to own.
