Really dull-sounding reissue — have to turn it up loud to get any visceral kick from the music, and even then it sounds oddly tame. Definitely not what you want from one of THE great 70s punk LPs.

Edited 8 months agoPulled this Classic out... It is flat, Very little surface noise (not that it would be audible besides in between tracks), and it sounds pretty damn good (it is on point good separation/mix but it is a punk LP so...) on my modest system...
(Fluance RT-82 w/Acrylic Platter, ATN-XP cart/5 stylus. Nobsound T3 Phono Amp, Aiyima A07 Pro, Kicker KB6B, & Polk PSW10 Sub...Simple Low Cost Setup)...Happy Listening -
Mine sounds great. Can’t imagine the super expensive reissues sounding THAT much better. Happy with the sound especially for the pricepoint.

Edited 2 years agoI agree pretty flat pressing not horrible but not stunning either by no means ,but will work for now being this is my only copy

Edited 3 years agoMine was off-centered causing the stylus to move like a drunk sailor on A1 and A2. Sound was too harsh. Not recommended. Damn with no "ed"!
-
sounds ok. not as good as some of the other album repressings. artwork looks like it was from the CD and the resolution didn't hold up with enlarging. It was cheap, so it has that going for it. Would love this to get a decent remaster.

Bought off Amazon a week ago. My copy sounds great! Mine is a little warped on the edge though. But no skips. Vanian's vocals sound excellent.
