This is a great album, and this pressing is ok. The price is right on this one and if you can't find an original this won't disappoint.

This is a very fine collection of Howlin' Wolf songs, perfect for the blues enthusiast who wants to trace the roots of your favorite Yardbirds, Stones, Bonamassa, etc blues lineage.

Wolf had his own style and executed it with panache. A 19-year-old Ike Turner on piano. Wish he had stuck to just pounding on a keyboard.

The source material is so old that the pressing is somewhat irrelevant. That said, this reissue is super clean and sounds as good as I would expect. Recommended.

Poor sound. It lacks depth. While they come from old mastering everything sounds too tight.
