An excellent pressing if I do say so. I listened to this compared to the original US press and from what I can hear is the half speed raises the volume more on Bruce’s vocals as well as percussion sounds. Best example of this is on 10th ave, jungleland, and born to run. Going back to the original US press it almost sounds like a blanket is over my speakers. Don’t hesitate on this half speed. Nice copies can be found for under $30 at the time of this post. -
Very good sounding Born to Run: the record is flat and clean, and the sound is more detailed and less muddy than an original US pressing. People speak of messed-up EQ on these 1980s half speed masters, but I'm not sure I can hear any of that with this pressing. Perhaps it's not quite as good as the 2014 remaster, but it's very good in its own right. Overall grade: 8/10

This is the definitive pressing of Born to Run. I own 9 different pressings and this is the be all end all. I've heard this album 1000 times, but never like this. There are string sections on Jungleland that I've never heard before! Not gonna lie, it made me quite emotional.
On top of that, it's just a supreme pressing. I bought a sealed copy and this baby is clean. Lays flat and there are no pops or cracks anywhere. Perfect album. Buy this already. -
Very good sounding edition of this awesome record. However, I would love to have a Kevin Gray type get a hold of the master tapes and make a superior edition (with Bruce and Little Steven).
This this the best sounding edition of BTR that I have. I have 2 different copies of the CD (regular and box set) plus a late 70’s reissue record.
