Adele’s opus magnum. A perfect album. She delivers so much emotion on every track. Both sides of this record give you unbelievable moments, at no point does this album feel dull.

My copy has a lot of noise and skipping on side A, which is a bummer, I really like this album and need to find a good clean copy

I’m not sure what everyone’s talking about regarding this pressing. I just picked this up at my local record store and I’m content. My copy has little to no surface noise. The music sounds magnificent.

Adele is great and I have few complaints about the performance or the recording. However, this has got to be the worst "new" pressing I have ever purchased - by far. When I opened this factory sealed cover, I thought someone had put a well used "G" grade vinyl in the sleeve as a joke. It was covered in dust, surface scratches, and even finger prints! This was without a doubt the most pop and click laden "new" LP I have ever encountered. A thorough cleaning on a VPI cleaning machine and a long stint in my ultrasonic cleaner did not improve the noise (I have the sonograms to prove it). This and my almost as bad experience with the Adele 21 suggests that the clicks and pops are part of the vinyl. Adele should fire XL and find a pressing company with better QC...

Certainly not the greatest pressing, but does the job until such time this recording gets a decent remaster and a 2LP format.

This album is fantastic. it would be better on a double LP but that's life. Noticeably better than the digital version.

XL records pressing is TERRIBLE. Mine came with 2 B-side labels. IE B side label is applied to both the A and B sides. The records was also warped to all hell. Warping was so bad that my tonearm kept skipping (1g tracking force). The record was also rather dirty coming fresh out of the packaging. The cover is made of the cheapest recycled newspaper feeling crap. There are records in the used bin in far better shape than what this trash came out as. I'm hoping the record store issues a refund.

Edited 7 years agoPretty much all of the information here matches mine, except I have "AL-88875176771-06 25355.1(3)... RKS" etched on Side A and "BL-88875176771-01 25343.2(3)... RKS" on Side B. Does anyone else have this, too?
