Sounds great my copy is clean and flawless except that the set came with 2 lp’s both are llp 1. There is no second album 🤦🏼♂️ if anyone got a set with 2 number 2 LP’s get to me! We can trade 😜 -
Has anyone compared these to the Classic Records releases? Those are going to very hard to beat!

Edited 2 years agoI have all 4 of these and they are absolutely amazing version. Quality control was pretty bad and I had to return a few. But the copies I have are flat ..noiseless and beautifully done. Plus a free hi res included....cant go wrong with that...I will say the vinyl destroys the s. BTW listening to this is an awesome experience. Recently upgraded my phono stage and just out of control here. Love it. -
My favorite PG album and my second favorite of all time (after The Lamb). The sound is okay, but I was expecting better from this repressing. A few loud pops and clicks. It's not as quiet as I was hoping for. Especially in the beginning of the Rhythm of the Heat. A little disappointed. 5 stars for the album. 3.5 for the vinyl.

Both records are slightly warped and side 1 is slightly off center, it's not audible. Quality control department shouldn't really be letting off-center records out of the factory. It's a shame! Sound qualtiy is great. -
Additionally, this recording has very little dynamic range compression (-0.1 as measured by DRC-Meter). -
These limited edition, numbered, 45 rpm half-speed master editions are awesome. They are whisper quiet and have a very strong signal (+1.5 dB on my scale). They also come with a free digital and you can select 24-bit, 48 kHz hi-resolution versions. In addition the LPs come in beautiful gatefold jackets (even if the original album was not gatefold). They are produced directly by Peter Gabriel’s company and so they are done right. These albums are my most prized and loved possessions.
I am a huge Peter Gabriel fan and had to get them all. Peter Gabriel 4 (Security) is fantastic album. “San Jacinto” is my favorite track, though I also dig “Shock the Monkey”. As with all the others the production and mastering on this version is precisely perfect—a joy to listen to. -
Edited 9 years agoAbsolutely flawless pressing. No pops, no clicks, and extremely quiet. So much so I can probably safely say this is the best sounding album I own.
