Edited 3 years agoNot sure I've ever had a 1st US pressing before, my others were always the AYL reissues. Listening on headphones and a good tube system I'm reminded all over again what an astounding record this is. I love when Bowie layers on guitars and sings like he's inside a hurricane. 10/10

Great soundstage on the B side in this one. With good headphones you can clearly hear subtle details which are obscured in most versions. A side has nice dynamics and detail, but is a bit bright. My copy has a little bit of distorted bass in Sense of Doubt. Overall a very satisfying pressing.
