My 7S pressing has conspicuous sssssssibilance on "Walk on the Wild Side". On my Speakers Corner copy, I hear much less sibilance. The former has slightly more "air", while the SC is slightly more full-bodied. -
I just got a super clean copy of this pressing. Sounds wonderful! I have the new Speakers Corner version unopened, tempted now to do some comparisons.

Edited 6 years agoReview, 1972 US Hollywood Pressing LSP 4807 Matrix / Runout (Run-out side A, variant 1): BPRS - - 7038 - 7S Matrix / Runout (Run-out side B, variant 1): BPRS - - 7039 - 7S ... Highly recommended! ... The 2012 US pressing, 88691958041, sounds great. But the 1972 Hollywood? So much more top end, so much air, so organic and warm, it's absolutely beautiful!

I got a copy of this in the shrink, With the Matrix / Runout (Run-out side A): BPRS-7038 5S runout. It has the wrong label on side 1. It is for Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass. Songs are correct to the title, but wrong label. It is worth more or less?

I have this Lou Reed-Transformer LP album LSP-4807(BPRS 7038). I believe my copy is a UK pressing but not positive. Unlike every picture I've flipped through(even some being from other countries out of desperation) I fail to find a center label identical to mine due to a somewhat minor difference from all others. It's an RCA Victor release but at the top, it reads only "Side 1" or "Side 2" without "Stereo" printed next to it. Anyone else have a copy similar to mine?
