I had an original of this for years. Listened to it tons. Somewhere along the line something very bad happened to it. Pizza hands, beer spilt on, idk. Casualities of youth. Anyway having noticed that my local shop had this reissue for $18 I replaced it, and it sounds tooootally fine to me. so don’t worry about it too much. One of their best albums imo.

"Copped it" and "Elves" sounded at times in my stereo as if like they got through the throat of a dying chicken. Anyone else experienced this?

It's cool that reissues from The Fall have been made affordable by Beggars Banquet (I found my copy for $17 mint), but this pressing sounds pretty flat and quiet unfortunately. Great album tho
