this album is coooold, in case the album cover didn't give that away. custom labels and a nice gatefold kinda makes this the definitive used pressing to get! pressing sounds incredibly spacious, fits the album very well indeed. -
Great album all around. The single Charlotte Sometimes and B side Splintered in her head are of no equal.. Anyone interested in live stuff. Should hear Lille 81, Sydney 81, LA 81 west 81 all fantastic recordings. -
The middle of the Cure’s early trio of doomy dark gothic atmospheric LPs. The melancholy, brooding & bleak visions are oddly intriguing, alluring & full of mystique - like a soothing, slow-motion aural dream (& a great cover photo depicting the mood - a church shrouded in fog).
A classic of the (goth) genre.
