I have one of the copies with a different band on side one. For those trying to ID - It's His Eyes Have Fangs EP. https://open.spotify.com/album/5atpVFlCFl6bnDsTy6iPVb?si=5OGREAh1QbWMIZnn35I6DA

My copy looks and sounds beautiful, super clear and loud and dynamic. The best way to listen to this album.

Edited 4 years agoJust got one of these that's on transparent orange; anyone have any more info on this run? The runout matrices are the same, maybe it's just another variant for this pressing.

Extremely cool 10". The orange vinyl is perfect for the pumpkin Halloween theme. Comes in a paper sleeve, will preferably need a replacement anti-static sleeve. Also the disc is quite big for 10" and will have a little of the out ring sticking out.
As for the sound, there's some crackle, but it's not intrusive and only audible to me during the quiet moments. The rest, such as clarity, the mix and mastering is all good.
This gets my recommendation. -
I think it sounds fairly well, but it doesnt seem to be concentric, the arm moves strangely in a wave pattern (from the inside to the outside back and forth), more noticeable when it's sitting on the outer grooves closer to the outer edge and i believe that might be causing some of the surface noise, other than that it's a fairly great pressing

I bought this new from my local record store. I feel like it has a lot of surface noise for a new pressing.
-
I just bought this and the A-Side has some other band on it!?!?! I tried to Shazaam but it couldn't tell me who it was. What the hell?!?!?!? It sounded like Blonde Redhead or something

Edited 10 years agoThe first 500 copies of the 10" reissue included a poster, sold out on preorder in October 2013. As of January 7th, it is available without the poster at websites like Amazon and other online retailers such as importcds and ccmusic.
