Notes
First pressings of this single come with solid or push-out centres.
The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." in capitals.
The label DOES have the "Sold in the U.K..." statement.
There was also a company sleeve that some were issued in which d the latest EMI albums, including the Beatles own "A Collection Of Oldies".
Some copies at the original time were pressed by Decca Records to assist EMI who could not keep up with the demand for this Beatles release. EMI sub-contracted Decca to run off a small batch at their Pressing Plant. There is a distinct difference between the routine EMI pressing and the slightly rarer Decca contract pressing. The Decca version has a push-out centre with four Prongs.
During the pressings of "Hello Goodbye", due to the incredible demand EMI had to import some of these from , and therefore there are some poorer quality pressings around of this release with "Made In " on the label.
