Great analog recording and mastering. This US pressing sounds amazing. The sound is very organic, natural and crispy.

I bought this copy over 15 years ago and having no point of comparison, it sounds fantastic. Granted, a few of these songs sound like they were recorded inside of a phone booth in lower Manhattan with the entire band playing--but isn't that the appeal? Even on my mid-grade speakers, this really sings.

Bought my copy for $80 (technically $64 with a discount) and it was absolutely worth it! I doubt I will ever be able to afford a first press, but this version sounds amazing! My copy is near mint, and I couldn’t imagine it playing better. The production is great. If you’re not up for buying a pricy first press, this is definitely a good choice.

I have a copy with these runouts but it is not a gatefold version and the label indicates it's by Polydor, In addition both sides of the label are printed with side 2 information.
