Edited 15 days agoThe comic-relief "bad guys" in Prince's movie, this band has a kind of lol presentation. They don't take themselves too seriously musically, though in the movie, they act like they are the cat's meow. There's a handful of s-bombs on the tracks, mostly as soto voce's at the end of a song, which kind of cemented them as the villain in the movie, and the s-bomb delivered with a long drawn-out style was their trademark. Has their big hit at B1. Otherwise, mostly harmless jams. -

In my record collection I found a copy of Ice Cream Castle with all the same identifying numbers and specifications shown herein, only the name is shown as Morris Day and The Time in the same pink/rose-colored text in the upper R corner of the album's cover. It also reads Morris Day and The Time on the album's spine. Can anyone else confirm this version exists besides me? Thanks!
