"Il Captavibrazione" was release on an 1983 album on Quadrangolo Mirabile Records. Very nice to see that released again. -
Edited 7 years agoHell Yeah this is a smasher. Bought this, like many here, because of the first track. Turned out to be a beauty on both sides. Nothing boring, even the cheesy stuff of mr. rocambole lets me turn up the master. Its gold all over. In fact you safe a sh*tload of money just by getting this. Just look at the prices of originals and reissue. As far as i can tell, its professionally mastered, no bootleg mp3 crap. -

I should not regognize this as a "new italo". and that's a great compliment. -
The new track "Emotion" included on this compilation is an absolute killer, surely in the best of modern italo-disco productions, it has the 'edge' missing from so many recent tracks attempted in this style.
The lyrics are more or less a rework of those used in The Managers - "One Race" but they work anyway:
"I'm feeling like an old rock star" ..was ever a truer line sung by an aging italo-disco icon?
For the rest, we know these tracks already and they sound great here, volume is plenty loud enough for both DJs and home listeners.
One strange thing.. I hear a different vocal take in this recording of Helicon - "You .. See", neither better nor worse, just different, more raw and less polished.
