I have a vinyl catalogue # SJ-385 Capitol label. The run-out indicators correlate with both the Allied and Speciality pressing identifiers but there is no embossed A nor "EAST" to indicate whether it is an Allied pressing or the Speciality pressing. Can anyone please advise further to enable me to correctly ID this pressing?

Does anybody else have the Hey Jude purple Capital label SW 385 issue that has a purple (side 2) Capital Abbey Road label on side 2 of the record.? The record is stamped correctly.

Amazingly mixed & assembled collection of Beatles songs — I’m grateful it was made and that, through odd turns of serendipity, I have this copy.

Sam Feldman did a masterful job. Very smooth rendering. Plus the bass in the stereo Rain is fantastic.

this album has a great STEREO version of "Rain". Rain was a b-side on the Paperback Writer 7", and was in mono. In my opinion, Rain was the 1st "eastern" sounding "PSYCHEDELIC" song they made, any onewho flipped that 7" record over and heard it should have been hit in the head by a 2x4 because that was the initial moment you would have heard that EASTERN PSYCHEDELIC DOOR OPEN... listen to the vocal treatments on the chorus etc... but, that's just my 2 cents... stereo version on this compilation...

I already have the blue boxset. I'm not into the demos, outtakes and others. Do I need this?
