Happy 70th birthday to me. Rockin' minty goodness. This record illustrates, for me, the je ne sais quoi of vinyl.
N.B. Testa Rossa Monitor Mixes is tasty in its own right. -
Recapping, this is an essential The Fall record that clearly deserves an excellent pressing so that Dr Bucks' Letter (and the rest of the tracks) can satisfyingly snarl at you while your bones rattle on the bass. But, if you want that experience, its going to cost you $250 USD before shipping; or, you can buy a 2019RSD release that was some other much lesser mix that was remastered terribly and you're going to hate it enough to melt it into a novelty ash tray or something. ... In other words, here I am pleading for a properly mastered reissue from the right source material.

The first pressing has matrix numbers inscribed which end in -A. The second pressing has numbers that end in -B. There should really be separate listings for both issues here as the first pressing is far more valuable.

This is the same versions as the RSD 2019 The Fall - Unutterable - Testa Rossa Monitor Mixes, right?
-
Vinyl is suffering from compression. Not as bad as the CD (CD=DR 7 / LP = DR 9) but it's still there.
