Edited 9 years agothe holy grail of all the mods work, with some of their best work complied from 2007-2011 on 2 slabs of vinyl. to say their new work is extremely polished (and somewhat watered down? unsure) Jay Williamson's attacks on everything from DJs to Job seeking never sound so aggressive, backed by 60-70s samples lifted from popular soul and punk records, before in 2011 switching to sound that got them signed to Harbinger Records you hear now. By far the best of his earlier work is the incredibly brilliant original version of Jobseeker, The Mekon, R&B Paul and Armitage Shanks which he rips into a punk classics with all the finesse of a twisted John Cooper Clarke jamming MC Pitman if he did punk covers. due to the nature of this record i can imagine its expected to be an expanded price due to its collectibility now (i paid a lot stupidly) , so if not one for parting with cash i'd suggest ing it. superb release 5/5
PS contary to Ebay and the like, there was no CD of this release produced, it was only bought out on vinyl. don't be had.
