The Guinness Book of British Singles, 2nd Ed, 1979, has it listed as Yellow Submarine/Eleanor Rigby. All the other entries in Discogs for the 1966 UK releases have it ER/YS. What is the source all the others have worked from and why the discrepancy? I'm genuinely interested.

      Missing facts
EP was 5 tracks mono 4-pin dinked centre "sold in UK" text 33 1/3 rpm gloss flip-back sleeve side opening

      A
      Only A Northern Song
      Hey Bulldog
      Across The Universe^

      B
      All Together Now
      It's All Too Much

^Acrosss The Universe waa the added extra teaser as a new unreleased song it was later used on Nothing's Gonna Change Our World EMI budget charity album on Regal for the WWF with over dubbed birds and again as it was on Let It Be
this missing EP but mixed for stereo would have been a real film 50th A treat but hey ho what do us fans know?

Now comes the LOW FIDELITY cash-in 50th anniversary of the film picture disc apple logo on sleeve vile phone number cat number aww and a wonderful bar code
        right!
        1. Point of bar code on artwork is?
        2. what mixes are these songbook ones in Stereo or Revolver 1966 mono? (money is on the mono)

        IF IT WERE ME>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
knowing what the Apple cocck-up and rubbish Ron Kass had to deal with as The Yellow Sub was to havwe been THE first project after Hey Jude single but due to the Lennon-Ono-McCartney bitching and bickering over the wide SORRY white album (too late to print a co,lour sleeve etc etc) 14" album becomes 12" etc etc etc etc
Then as a gift, new teaser and wrirting the releasing wrongs of Apple, then why oh why oh why oh why was the oringinal planned 6 track 33 1/3 Apple EP not released (naturally in STEREO) why? can not see why this has not been done as an amazing tribute to a really fantastic project that all 4 of them thought would be rubbish! (How wrong they were! Hey Bulldog and All Together Now never got a UK 7" Apple single release but did pan Europe, Only A Northern Song and It's All Too Much got a USA Capitol Cema "Juke Box" 7" blue vinyl release, so a lot of silly wrongs and silly thoughts could have been righted here, not a vile low-fi picture disc at a really OTT price of same old same old single very mono single!
We are celebrating the film here NOT the 1966 single so it's a bit diff, again Calderstone not doing homework not looking, not giving us fans anything new. THE very missing, foolishly missing, stupidly missing, master tape pre-paired for and not used missing, alleged artwork sleeve missing, part of history EP missing EP.
        Calderstone Foolish gaffs:-
        1. Matrix on PL/SF single its a Y not a mono X the single is stereo!
        2. James Bond intro to Help on the 62-66 red retro for Diganostini (as per Klein's USA inststance and got as compiler!) something we never got in the UK why?
3 Let It Be Dignastini release no book no tray no box no red apple logo (quote: all albums will be as originally UK released) Let it be wasn't why? (couldn't find the pages for the book?)
        4. Yellow Sub film 50th anniversary where's the shelved 33 1/3 6 track EP:

        whats next?
McCartney's crazy OTT mono mix for Get Back as it didn't sound right on wavey phasing mono AM Radio, or the vastly superior and USA Capitol paid for Glynn Johns Stereo mix that was also released in (This USA or 1969 Stereo single needs to be slipped into Let It Be Box set as "Don't Let Me Down was in the film a few times BUT not on the album and you'd want it in Stereo not mono like the UK 45! (Just a point here)
so much they can and should do but dont! This vile low fi picture disc just proves the point>>>>>>Why
