Notes
Features an assembled 26-page booklet: page 2 and 3 fold out in 3 pages, page 11 folds out in 10 pages. Some pages are partially transparent. First issue copies contain a second booklet, hidden underneath the CD tray. It features lyrics from the album after Kid A, Amnesiac. Some copies also came with a 14x14 cm mouse mat.
The font we wrote the word 'Radiohead' in is made by Buro Destruct, Berne, Switzerland.
The track 'Idioteque' contains two samples from the Oddyssey label title 'First Recordings - Electronic Music Winners' (1976). The two compositions sampled are Paul Lansky's 'Mild Und Liese' and 'Short Piece' by Arthur Kreiger.

Dies ist Musik für Puzzlefreunde und Hundehasser. Warum? Ganz einfach: Nach dem Kauf und erstem Anhören dieser Platte konnte ich entspannt puzzeln, aber der Hund meiner Ex-Freundin verließ irgendwann mit einem entnervten Blick das Zimmer. Im Gegensatz zu dieser CD ist "Ok computer" ein Kinderspiel. Die ersten beiden Songs rauschen an einem vorbei, dann erweckt der Basslauf bei "The national anthem" dein Interesse, ebenso die Stimme von Thom Yorke, die hier klingt, wie wenn sie durch einen Schlauch geleitet wird. Der Song endet dann in einem chaotischen FreeJazz-Theme, welches an das Einstimmen eines Theaterorchesters erinnert. Der Song "How to disappear completely" stellt dann eine Situation dar, bei der man nicht beteiligt und die nie iert ist, und die durch die schmerzhaften Aufschreie "I´m not here" getragen wird. Das folgende Instrumentalstück "Treefingers" erinnert an eine dunkle kalte Nacht in einem Wald. Der Begriff "Optimistisch" und Radiohead en eigentlich nicht zusammen, daher wird man in "Optimistic" auch darüber aufgeklärt, das diejenigen, die immer ihr bestes geben, als Futter für die Tiere auf einer Farm enden. Leichte TripHop-Klänge, die später in einem ausgewachsenen Drum´n´Bass-Stück enden, erklingen bei "Idioteque". Wer schon mal mit einem Filmriss und einem Kater aufgewacht ist, kann den Text von "Morning bell" sehr gut nachvollziehen, genauso wie den Text von "Motion picture soundtrack", wenn man schon einmal Liebeskummer hatte. Letzterer Titel, der auch mit Selbstmordgedanken spielt, endet nach 3.19 Minuten, es folgt eine knapp einminütige Stille, bevor ein fünfzigsekündiges Orchestra-Instrumental folgt um dann nach eineinhalb minütiger Stille zu enden. Ziemlich krank. Als eingängig kann man diese Platte bestimmt nicht zählen, sie zieht dich aber genauso wie "OK computer" irgendwann auch in den typischen "Radiohead-Bann".
