Edited 11 months agoThis sounds fantastic. Only thing is that mine had some pretty crazy pops right at the start of record which scared me. But it cleared up within 10 seconds. the rest is pretty good, albeit on some quieter parts you can hear crackles/pops.

Stunning pressing, as it´s been said in comments below, it´s a little bit louder cut, but dynamics, stereo separation, instruments, vocals, everything is absolutely fantastic and this is easily one of the best records in my entire collection.

I purchased this for a friend at the Munich High End 2022 and am absolutely amazed by how good the condition of the record is and how great it sounds. I own the MFSL pressing which does sound better, but it does not make this version sound dull or underwhelming, which sometimes is the case comparing top-remasters to standard Japanese pressings. I'd say the MFSL just improves on some aspects which are aready doing very good with the JP pressing.

Edited one year agoFantastic sounding record!!! Silent vinyl, great dynamics, super warm, and big soundstage. Super loud cut, but crystal clear! If you find a good copy buy it.

Edited 7 years agoThis pressing is amazing! It really lived up to the reputation of Japanese pressings. The mastering is loud, compared to many recent albums and reissues of old albums, yet not compressed until losing dynamic range. The previous owners must have loved it and took good care of it because after 40 YEARS my copy still sounds sooo goood~ Now i feel like buying one more copy to keep!
