Not sure of the group or the label here, although the tracks were 'written by' PETE NAMLOOK & TETSU INOUE. Their sound seems to reflect & compliment that of the RASTERMUSIC groups - dwelling between space-drifting mood music & filigree delicate fast little rhythms. I guess you'd compare it to the Ambient music of THE ORB except that this is probably a hell of a lot more musical & moody. Whereas THE ORB would combine found sounds into their swirling mass between rhythms, SHADES OF ORION have almost VIDNA OBMANA-like cloud chamber drifts. Only three tracks, but they total just under 71 minutes.
