I have 5 copies of Sticky Fingers including the Mobile Fidelity.
I was always focused on getting a '71 first pressing, and I obtained 2 Presswell copies that do sound great.
But this '77 specialty press really surprised me how great it sounds and frankly the vinyl is cleaner and the press edges out those 2 '71 copies I have.

I just did a comparison of about 10 different versions of sticky fingers. I didn’t expect this pressing to be near the top but it’s definitely top three I think. I’m very impressed. Dynamic, raunchy, and clear.

Bob Ludwig's 1994 CD issue been the one I always loved. Then some fine day I discovered a Japan SHM- release pressed from the original UK master tapes. A different beast, both are solid and very, very good issues with no issues.
Always had this LP version in my wardrobe, and when I got a chance to record it properly in 24/192 hi-res I had a Christmas experience: oh my gosh, read there are better pressings around, still this is accoustic heaven!!! One of my best sounding LPs with much detail and still enough punch. Been played a lot but still sounds silent enough to enjoy wholeheartedly with no skips or bad pops and crackles whatsoever. It is still one of the less expensive compared to others, so grab one If you can and enjoy this very best of all RS albums... next to Exile, LIB and BB, of course ☺️

Probably my favorite non-compilation Rolling Stones offering I've heard, My copy has a skip during the best track on the album, Can't You Hear Me Knocking?

My version does not include the dust sleeve with B/W band group photo, artwork, and credits, but does include a printed trifold pamphlet titled "211 reasons why The Rolling Stones is the world's greatest rock and roll band" with photos of previous releases and song titles.

I chose to add this version to my collection, instead of the one linked above, because this one matches a matrix in the run out on my copy. I spent too much time trying to figure out which one I have, and still am not certain. Maybe the other has the same numbers, but they just weren't posted. Maybe someone posted a wrong picture set. Maybe they're the same. Maybe I'm overlooking something. If you can help to clarify, I'd appreciate it.

Just picked up one of these at a record fair. However, my labels say SP but my matrixes have a "G" suffix instead of "SP".
