Too much! The first three tracks are great, very in touch with his sound at the time, a little tacky and predictable here and there, but these are remixes, and when are remixes not so? What makes these remixes great, though, is they're more like reinterpretations of the original, which Prince did himself; it's obvious he was dedicated to making this a great maxi-single/EP release.
Well, after the three vocal remixes we're treated to three cohering instrumentals; after listening to the first tracks hearing 'could you be the most beautiful girl in the world' over and over again gets really repetitive and annoying. It's obvious that we're meant to listen to this whole thing in one sitting, as they kind of shift between instrumentation and grooves, which I just can't put myself through, despite the decent material (really though I rarely listen to the last half of the CD).
Then the album closes with the best version of all, the original. If there weren't so many tracks to go through initially the placement of the original may've been more effective, but it just rather sits there at the end.
