My copy includes a small slip of paper with Japanese printed text that according to Google Translate says:
'This CD does not include a Japanese commentary. Thank you for your understanding.' -
I never buy CD because poor sound quality exept some SACD. I prefer by far the sound of vinyl.
Since this one exist only on CD, I decided to buy the 3 albums (Beit, Alef and Gimel) and.... What a surprise ! These recording and pressing are exceptional ! Sound is detailed, with excellent relief, High end never tiring, Low end deep and clear, no compression. Perfectly balanced, all instruments at the right place. The drums spanked me hard and the bass line is round and hot. It's just fantastic ! To my ears, this is an audiophile pressing.

Edited 14 years agoWhat can i say about this hardcore klezmerjazzzzz band?????? One of the best improvise musics i ve ever heard! Short, briliant tunes, mad interaction & a drummer who kicks my ass, whatever he plays on the drum surfaces is unique with a very personal 'feel' of Time , a bass player who actually is...the 'drummer' - timekeeper & the sax & trumpet who interact with restless madness & creativity...this band changed my direction in my personal musical activity the last 10 years.
