Why does the cover art look uncannily like a combination of the front and rear covers of Cracker’s 1991 debut album?

This version was very possibly, and most likely, released 2 weeks prior to the Grand Royal colored vinyl pressing. We received the first pressing vinyl along with CDs into inventory July 10 1998, ready for sale, with a July 14 1998 street date. I still have record of this in the point of sales system at the record store I was (and am again) a buyer for. I pre-ordered both versions on vinyl from 3 different distributors. All of them had the Capitol pressing in stock on time for the July 14th street date. The Grand Royal version showed up July 31st, meaning a possible 7-28-98 actual street date. Shouldn't have been a West Coast distribution issue as both Grand Royal & Capitol were in California as were two of the 3 "one-stop" distributors I was working with (Valley Media Dist., Abbey Road). Most likely it was that Capitol was a major label and had the power/money to get it's releases on time. Back then releases from majors were on point 99% of the time with rare street date changes and delays as we see now in the vinyl industry.
I have both and bought them each on the week of release respectively. I bought the Capitol pressing the week it dropped, and then the colored vinyl pressing when it finally arrived nearly 3 full weeks after the Capitol pressing.
The Grand Royal colored version almost surely was a few weeks later. I am wondering if anyone else has information on this at all?
I was a huge fan, I even have a hanging "space station" mobile for Hello Nasty that Capitol sent us to promote the album. Find one... it's pretty cool!
