Musically top!! The alternative take of moanin is very nice too! The mastering of this CD ist ok- probably a little on the bright side. Sounds pretty good, but not as good as my music matters lp.

Edited 18 years agoArt Blakey's most successful album contained the title track by Bobby Timmons along with Benny Golson's 'Along Came Betty" and Gilles Peterson's favourite, 'Blues March'. This trio of tunes proved to be so popular and timeless, Blakey played them almost every night for the next 30 years.
