These were available at HMV as 'Import 12"s ' in the late 1980s for £6.99 !!! I should have bought a few copies....
The 7" was very rare, almost as scarce as the 7" Sweat in Bullet. -
I have New Gold dream 12' on the b side of I Travel 12' on virgin records. I when i first heard this song i spent many years looking for the 12" and it was nowhere to be found in the import shops in calif, and then in 1985 i was doing a mail order from the east coast and all of a sudden it was offered to me, but i was not aware of this 12' of it on the A side.

This 12" exists in two slightly different edition. The first has matte cover and as far as I can remeber the intro was the short one. In few mounths the longer version was the standard and the sleeve had a gloss paper. This is the pressing you commonly find in Italy. The very first press must be bloody rare as since I traded my copy with an english friend in the 80s I wasn' able to locate another copy again!
