This is a sincere, ionate tribute to rhythm & blues music, and it's also a really fun listen. Aykroyd is great on "Rubber Biscuit", Belushi sings with feeling, but what makes this album work is the band...it's a kickass band loaded with living legends, and it sounds like they're having a blast. "Shot Gun Blues" is about the only dud on the album. This pressing sounds good, it's got a crisp punchy sound, maybe could use a lil' more oomph in the low end. The vinyl plays nice and clean with a few seconds of light surface noise at the beginning of each side.
