Rice Krispies. Snap, crackle, and pops everywhere. I was going to return to Amazon but decided to give it a SECOND wet cleaning. This time I let the solution - distilled water, 91% rubbing alcohol, & Ilfoltol - sit on each side for 20 minutes. Then a wash in the Spin Clean and now… no more Rice Krispies!!! Sounds great! Bass is rich and deep. Hits! Mids and highs are clean and clear. Heavyweight black vinyl, doesn’t feel like 180 gram though. Very nice gatefold cover. I replaced the paper sleeves with poly lined ones. Glad to finally have this in my collection. -

Had been looking for this one and finally found it online. Looks like it got restocked. I found it at retail price $29.99 but it came pretty warped. Doesn’t seem to affect the sound but looks ugly bobbling up and down. Would you guys exchange it or try to flatten it? I have the vinyl flat. You always risk wearing the grooves. -
Sound: very good sound and nice loud volume with good amount of bass, Side A (A2) and Side B (B1) had a continuous pop sound which is annoying. Quite disappointing.
Music is great, though! -
Been on the lookout for this one for a while. The prices have been through the roof. Walked into a record store yesterday and found a new sealed copy for $30 yesterday. Don’t stop digging, y’all. It’s worth it. -
Edited 3 years agoNot sure if I have a variant of this release or a completely different release... but mine has same etching (88725499401-A) with a different credit (KM@CA) on Side A and B. It also doesn't have the Welcome to 1979. My Side C and Side D match exactly though. -
Why is this marked up? I have this but already and y’all are ridiculous for marking it up on people. Shame on you. -
This is a fantastic pressing. I cannot imagine this particular masterpiece of an album to sound any better! It is very punchy and the amount of details you hear is amazing. Fantastic release! [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

A really good pressing of this album!! Dead silent all the way through no crackles pops or surface noise.
